Tata Steel Recruitment 2024 Role description

The position exists to facilitate land acquisition, alienation, R&R projection, site selection and land sourcing for expansion of existing mine / various project requirements. This position is also responsible for appropriate negotiation with the stake holders viz villagers, Govt. authorities etc for direct purchase of land in company’s interest and coordination with revenue/other relevant authorities and assist Sr. Manager in functional roles. To Purchase undisputed land as per standard, monitor all existing land parcels of the Company across locations for legal compliance including mutation, rent payment. To facilitate the process of Forest Diversion Proposals, arrange non-forest Govt. land/ degraded forest land towards Compensatory Afforestation and prepare CA schemes. Also, keeping updated geo-referenced maps and updating land use plan on regular basis

• Land:
• To assist senior manager land for smooth function of department.
• Facilitate for land acquisition process, public hearings, gram sabhas required under land acquisition & Forest Rights Act
• Land & R&R CAPEX Projection for various projects
• Acquisition of rights for linear projects under P&MP Act/ Railways Act
• Due Diligence for direct purchase of land
• Prepare Sale deeds/ transfer deeds with Private Parties as well as Govt./ IDCO
• To get the mutation of land purchased in favour of company documentverification, negotiation, field demarcation with Amin/Surveyor.
• To prepare family genealogy with proper verification by Competent Authorities Execution, Registrations of Agreements.
• To settle and manage Hostile Community in company interests.
• To work on Land demarcation and possession.
• To understand government administrative set up and also the District and state administration related to land and their statutory clearance process.
• To visit local Govt. officials
• Lease:
• To liaison with State Nodal Agencies like IPICOL & IDCO and facilitate for smooth acquisition/ alienation of land
• Identify suitable Govt. land for allied facilities for mines & R&R colony
• To maintain Land and Lease records of overall Lease area.
• To conduct filed visits for ascertaining claims of various tenants and illegal possession related to acquisition of land within and outside.
• To coordinate and follow-up at Block and District Level Govt. Officials in Mining Department for processing of Mining Lease application.

• Forest:
• To facilitate the process of Forest Diversion Proposals
• To arrange & facilitate non-forest Govt. land/ degraded forest land towards Compensatory Afforestation requirements.
• DGPS Survey & posting of pillars over identified non-forest/ degraded forest land
• Preparation of CA scheme
• Obtaining Stage I clearance & EDS compliances
• Mutation of land in favour of Forest Department
