Job Description:
Pradhan Associates Pvt Ltd. is seeking an experienced Deputy Head to manage and oversee the Utility department at our Jharsuguda, Odisha site. The ideal candidate should have 5-7 years of experience in the Aluminium Smelter industry (Steel/Metal sector experience will also be considered) with expertise in Utility department operations, including Compressor House, ETP, WTP, RO, and MEE. The candidate must possess strong leadership qualities, excellent manpower management skills, and the ability to ensure the safety and compliance of all mechanical/electrical and operational systems. Troubleshooting, maintenance, record-keeping, and team supervision are key responsibilities. Knowledge in compressors, ETP, WTP, RO, and MEE is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the Utility Department.
- Ensure the safety and compliance of all systems.
- Troubleshoot problems as they arise.
- Maintain accurate records of all mechanical work performed.
- Train and supervise the mechanical team.
- Implement Asset Optimization (AO) strategies.
- Ensure 100% safety in the work area.
Requirements:
- BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5-7 years of experience in the Utility Department.
