Job Description:
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Sr. Engineer/Jr. Manager for our SMS (Steel Melting Shop) department. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 8 years of relevant experience and must possess knowledge of Induction Furnace operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the mechanical maintenance activities in the SMS department.
- Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment, with a focus on Induction Furnaces.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
- Planning and executing maintenance schedules to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
- Coordinating with the operations team to ensure timely maintenance activities without disrupting production schedules.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards in all maintenance activities.
- Training and mentoring junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge in mechanical maintenance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a steel manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Induction Furnace operations.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
