JSW Steel Plant in Orissa is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Beneficiation Electrical Head. If you have extensive experience in electrical system design, equipment selection, troubleshooting, and maintenance within a beneficiation plant, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Electrical System Design: Design, implement, and maintain electrical systems within the beneficiation plant to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Equipment Selection and Maintenance: Select appropriate electrical equipment such as transformers, motors, switchgear, and control panels. Ensure regular maintenance and upkeep of electrical equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues that arise in the beneficiation process. Coordinate repairs and replacements as needed to minimize disruptions to production and ensure continuous operation.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets for electrical projects and maintenance activities. Implement cost-effective solutions and strategies to optimize spending while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Erection, Testing & Commissioning: Oversee the erection, testing, and commissioning of various types of electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear panels, PCCs, MCCs, APFCRs, UPS, and batteries. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards during the commissioning process.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution.
- 15+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on beneficiation plants or similar industrial settings.
- Strong technical expertise in electrical system design, equipment selection, and maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
- Proven leadership and project management abilities, with experience in budgeting and cost control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards applicable to electrical systems and equipment.
