About the Role

Aarti Steels Ltd., one of India’s leading integrated steel manufacturers, is inviting applications for the position of Desk Engineer / Shift Incharge (Boiler & Turbine) in its Power Plant division located at Cuttack, Odisha.

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe operation of boiler and turbine systems during plant shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with solid technical expertise in thermal power plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor Boiler & Turbine (AFBC / CFBC) systems during shifts.
Ensure uninterrupted power generation and maintain optimum efficiency.
Conduct shift-wise inspections, record logs, and report performance data.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve any operational or maintenance issues.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
Coordinate with other departments to achieve production targets.

Candidate Profile

• B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a valid BOE Certificate (mandatory).
• 5–8 years of experience in Power Plant operations, preferably in the Iron & Steel sector.
• Strong technical knowledge of AFBC and CFBC boiler systems.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
