MSP Steel & Power Ltd Recruitment 2025 Roles & Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager in the SID Division, the selected candidate will be responsible for leading and managing major electrical operations within the plant. Key responsibilities include:

1. Electrical Maintenance Management

• Manage preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for:
  • HT/LT panels
  • Transformers
  • DG sets
  • Compressors
  • EOT cranes
  • ESPs
  • Kiln drives
• Ensure maximum equipment reliability and minimum downtime.

2. Project Execution

• Plan, execute, and commission electrical projects.
• Oversee design reviews, BOQ preparation, and equipment procurement.
• Ensure all projects comply with industry standards and safety norms.

3. Technical Documentation & Control

• Review Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and AutoCAD drawings.
• Maintain documentation, reports, and MIS data for technical analysis.

4. Troubleshooting & Diagnostics

• Diagnose electrical faults and perform testing, calibration, and validation.
• Ensure reliability of PLC/DCS systems and plant power distribution networks.

5. Safety & Compliance

• Enforce ISO, EMS, and OHSAS compliance.
• Conduct safety audits, ensure LOTO procedures and use of PPE.
• Maintain high standards of operational safety.

6. Energy Management & Optimization

• Monitor and optimize power usage across the plant.
• Improve power factor and reduce power losses.
• Implement 5S, TPM, RCA, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Skills Required

• Excellent verbal & written communication
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Team collaboration
• Knowledge of SAP / ERP
• Understanding of 5S and Kaizen
• Familiarity with TPM, TQM & QC tools
