1. Shift In-charge – Blower & TRT

Jindal GCC is looking for experienced professionals for the Shift In-charge – Blower & TRT position.

Experience

Candidates should have 5 to 8 years of relevant experience. Experience in Blast Furnace utilities will be preferred.

Qualification

Applicants should have a:

  • B.Tech, or
  • Diploma

in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation engineering.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for leading shift operations associated with the blower and TRT systems.

The role involves managing three 4,042 Nm³/min MES M120 blowers along with a 26 MW TRT.

Major responsibilities include:

  • Managing shift operations of blowers and TRT.
  • Maintaining stable blast furnace top pressure.
  • Maximising energy recovery through TRT operation.
  • Handling emergency situations during plant operation.
  • Coordinating with maintenance teams for equipment-related issues.
  • Ensuring smooth and safe operation of utility systems.
  • Following safety procedures such as LOTO, PTW and JSA.
  • Coordinating with different departments during maintenance and operational activities.
