 Short Information: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will take place in January 2024. Interested candidates who meet all eligibility requirements and are interested in the exam details can read the notification and apply online.

Application Fee

For General/OBC (NCL) (Just Paper I or II): One thousand rupees.

For both Paper I and Paper II (General/OBC (NCL)): Rs. 1200/-

For individuals who are SC/ST/differently abled (only Paper I or II): Rs. 500; for individuals who are SC/ST/differently abled (both Paper I and II): Rs. 600.

Online payment methods (credit card, debit card, and net banking) are accepted.

Important Dates

Start Date for Online Applications and Fee Payment: March 11, 2023

The deadline to apply online and pay the fee is November 23, 2023 at 11:59 PM.

Final bank verification of fee payment: November 28, 2023

Online revisions, if any, to the candidate’s uploaded details between November 28, 2023, and February 12, 2023

Exam date: January 21, 2024

The admit card can be downloaded two days prior to the exam day.
By the end of FEBRUARY 2024 (PROPOSED) is the date on which the result will be declared.
