Roles & Responsibilities:

Reheating Furnace Operation & Maintenance:
- Handle combustion and material handling independently.
- Possess knowledge of combustion with LDO/HFO/BFG/PG.
- Understand stoichiometric ratio, pressure control logic, basic interlocks, utility system, oil storage, fire hazard elimination.
- Familiarity with heat-saving techniques, TPM, modification for safe consistent operation.

Documentation and Planning:
- Knowledge of MS Office, ISO, and documentation as per plant requirements.
- Basic understanding of refractory and their application in different areas of the furnace.
- Responsible for spare planning, preventive maintenance schedule, mechanical breakdown, and preventive action.
