Position: Shift Engineer – Mechanical Maintenance (Oxygen Plant Department)
Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in mechanical maintenance, preferably in an oxygen plant or related industrial environment
- Skills: Hands-on experience with cryogenic processes and equipment
Key Responsibilities:
- Predictive and Preventive Maintenance:
- Perform predictive and preventive maintenance of ASU units with a minimum capacity of 150 TPD
- Monitor the performance of mechanical systems and equipment, including compressors, turbines, pumps, heat exchangers, and piping systems
- Inspections and Repairs:
- Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of mechanical components such as bearings, seals, valves, and pressure vessels
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and maintenance logs
- Issue Diagnosis and Corrective Actions:
- Diagnose mechanical issues and implement corrective actions to promptly resolve equipment malfunctions
- Ensure timely and effective repairs to minimize production disruptions
- Collaboration and Root Cause Analysis:
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to identify root causes of failures and develop solutions
- Work as part of a team to enhance overall plant efficiency and reliability
