Aarti Steels Limited, a leading name in the steel manufacturing industry, is inviting experienced professionals to join its Steel Melting Shop (SMS) division. The company is hiring for the position of Compressor Fitter, a key technical role responsible for maintaining compressors, pumps, EOT cranes, and other critical mechanical systems to ensure uninterrupted steelmaking operations.

Key Responsibilities
As a Compressor Fitter in the SMS division, the selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of air compressors, pumps, and other mechanical equipment.
- Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure reliability and reduce downtime.
- Troubleshooting faults in compressors, pumps, and EOT cranes.
- Monitoring pressure systems, air lines, and lubrication schedules for safe operation.
- Coordinating with electrical and production teams during shutdowns and maintenance activities.
- Maintaining records of maintenance, spares, and service logs.
- Ensuring full compliance with safety and operational standards during maintenance work.
Qualifications & Skills
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Fitter or equivalent trade.
- 8–10 years of hands-on experience in maintaining compressors, pumps, and EOT cranes (preference for Steel / SMS plant experience).
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, pneumatic equipment, and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and use maintenance tools independently.
- Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
