About the Role:

ESL Steel Limited, part of the Vedanta Group, is hiring experienced professionals for the position of Shift In-Charge – Blast Furnace at its Bokaro plant.
This role is best suited for candidates with deep expertise in blast furnace operations, process optimization, and leadership in metallurgical environments.

You will be responsible for managing the entire shift operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and high-quality production.

Key Roles & Responsibilities: ESL Steel Limited Recruitment 2025

• Ensure environment, health, and safety (EHS) compliance at the workplace with zero harm, zero discharge, and zero waste principles.

• Oversee process monitoring, production target achievement, and grade-wise production planning.

• Minimize operational downtime and implement corrective actions.

• Identify new activities for HIRA and Aspect/Impact analysis.

• Manage daily shift operations and coordinate with engineers and production teams for smooth functioning of the blast furnace.

• Ensure strong housekeeping, safety, and sustainable workplace practices.

• Troubleshoot process variations and technical issues effectively.

Desired Attributes:

✅ Strong knowledge of Dry GCP / HBS systems
✅ Experience in PCM operations, Ladle / Loco movement
✅ Ability to implement corrective actions for process deviations
✅ Experience in reducing wastage of consumables
