Key Responsibilities & Role Description: Jindal SAW Recruitment 2025

As a Sr. Mechanical Utility Engineer, you will be at the heart of our plant’s operations, ensuring the seamless functionality of critical utility systems. Your core responsibilities will include:

· Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Overseeing the operation and maintenance of centrifugal pumps, screw-type air compressors (IR, ELGI), and induced draft cooling towers.
· Utility System Management: Managing the LDQ, LPG Gas station, Nitrogen Plant, and water systems, including plate type heat exchangers and parameter maintenance.
· Furnace & Facility Support: Handling utility-related maintenance for induction and annealing furnaces.
· Project Execution: Leading pipe and structure fabrication, erection, and the planning/scheduling of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
· Team Supervision & Reporting: Supervising work crews, providing technical clarifications, and maintaining daily engineering reports and equipment history logs.
· Continuous Improvement: Implementing 5S systems, driving KAIZEN initiatives, and managing ISO documentation.
· Safety & Compliance: Proactively identifying hazards and implementing corrective safety measures, alongside vendor bill evaluation.

Essential Skills & Competencies:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical and interpersonal skills:

· Proven technical expertise in the operation and maintenance of industrial utility equipment.
· Strong proficiency in fault-finding, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
· Working knowledge of SAP and MS Office is essential for this role.
· Excellent communication and team coordination abilities.
· A commitment to safety standards and quality documentation.
