Hot Strip Mill (HSM)
As a part of our expansion plan, we are setting up a Hot Strip Mill complex of capacity (5.5 MTPA)
in our existing integrated Steel Plant at Angul for production of HR Coils with a wide range of steel
grades and high quality thickness, width, profile and flatness as well as mechanical properties.
The new Hot Strip Mill will incorporate equipment with designs of innovative character including
very advanced adjusting systems in roughing and finishing mills, which in interaction with highly
efficient process models enable rolling of strips with best tolerances for strip thickness, strip
width, strip profile and flatness, final rolling and coiling temperature.

At present we have the following openings for our Hot Strip Mill :-
1.HSM Operations Shift In charge – BE/B-Tech/Diploma-Mech/Metallurgy
with 10-12 years of experience.
2. RHF Pulpit Operator/Roughing Mill Pulpit Operator/Finishing Mill Pulpit Operator/ Down coiler
Pulpit Operator (AM/DM) – BE/B-Tech/Diploma-Mech/Metallurgy with 5-8 years of experience
3. PPC – Executive (AM – MGR), MBA / B.Tech (Mechanical) with 5-15 Yrs. of Experience
4. QC-HSM – BE/B-Tech/Diploma-Mech/Metallurgy with 5-8 years of experience
