Job Summary:

1:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team in the stainless steel industry.

2:The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that our products meet or exceed customer expectations for quality and reliability.

3:The Quality Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control processes, conducting inspections, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive               continuous improvement in product quality.

Jindal steel Jajpur Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Control:
   • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures for stainless steel manufacturing.
   • Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
2. Testing and Analysis:
   • Plan and execute various testing methodologies to assess the mechanical, chemical, and physical properties of stainless steel products.
   • Analyze test results and provide feedback to production teams for process optimization and improvement.
3. Documentation:
   • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of quality control activities, test results, and non-conformities.
   • Prepare and update quality documentation, including inspection reports and quality manuals.
4. Collaboration:
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
   • Work closely with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming raw materials.
5. Continuous Improvement:
   • Identify areas for improvement in the manufacturing process and quality control procedures.
   • Implement and monitor corrective and preventive actions to enhance overall product quality.
6. Training:
   • Provide training to production staff on quality control procedures, standards, and best practices.
   • Foster a culture of quality awareness and accountability throughout the organization.

Jindal steel recruitment 2023 Qualifications:

• B-Tech (Mechanical).
• Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in the stainless steel industry.
• In-depth knowledge of stainless steel manufacturing processes and quality standards.
• Knowledge of relevant quality management systems and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001).
