Job Description: As a CNC Operator & Maintenance Fitter at Viraj Profiles Pvt Ltd, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines and ensuring their optimal performance. Your duties will include setting up machines, loading materials, running machining programs, and conducting quality checks on finished products. Additionally, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of CNC equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and performing preventive maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications.
- Set up machines by installing tools, loading materials, and inputting machining programs.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity.
- Conduct regular quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and make necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
- Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of machine maintenance activities and repair history.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- ITI qualification in relevant trade (CNC Operator/Maintenance Fitter).
- 0-5 years of experience in CNC operation and maintenance.
- Sound knowledge of CNC machining processes and equipment.
- Familiarity with CNC programming and machining software.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality orientation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
