Job Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

• Review drawings for outsourced parts.
• Conduct initial supplier visits and manufacturing feasibility assessments.
• Identify and ensure readiness of FTG.
• Oversee tool design and mold flow reviews with suppliers, coordinating with Design and Supplier teams for optimization.
• Hands-on experience with APQP.
• Perform PPAP audits and review development documentation.
• Conduct supplier audits (VDA, Special processes).
• Address defects during development with effective problem-solving.
• Monitor Supplier KRA for series parts, analyze and resolve concerns, and ensure 8D closure.
• Implement and close change management processes.
• Reduce supplier concerns & PPM for series parts.

Job Opportunity

Required Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of plastic molding, stamping, casting, machining, piping, component development, process design, and tool design/optimization.
• FTG design & management expertise.
• Proficient in Quality Inspection methods.
• Strong problem-solving skills (8D / 5 why, etc.). Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus.
• Detailed understanding of Quality Management Systems.
• Extensive experience in supplier management.

What You’ll Do:

• Dive into detailed drawing reviews for outsourced parts and ensure they meet our standards.
• Visit suppliers, assess manufacturing feasibility, and ensure everything is up to par.
• Identify and prepare FTGs, making sure everything is ready when needed.
• Collaborate with suppliers and our design team on tool design and mold flow reviews, optimizing wherever necessary.
• Take a hands-on approach with APQP, PPAP audits, and development documentation reviews.
• Conduct thorough supplier audits, especially focusing on VDA and special processes.
• Address and resolve any defects during the development phase with effective problem-solving techniques.
• Monitor supplier performance, address concerns, and ensure that any issues are resolved with 8D closure.
• Implement and finalize change management processes.
• Work diligently to reduce supplier concerns and PPM for series parts.

Job Opportunity

What We’re Looking For:

• A strong knowledge of plastic molding, stamping, casting, machining, piping, and component development.
• Expertise in process design, tool design, and optimization.
• Experience with FTG design and management.
• A solid understanding of Quality Inspection methods and hands-on experience with problem-solving (8D / 5 why, etc.). If you’re Six Sigma Green Belt certified, that’s a huge plus!
• A detailed understanding of Quality Management Systems.
• Proven experience in supplier management.
