Are you a seasoned finance professional with a passion for excellence and a drive for continuous improvement Jindal Steel & Power is seeking dynamic individuals to join our team in Gurugram as Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- UCP 600 Expertise: Strong knowledge of UCP 600 regulations to ensure seamless execution of international trade transactions.
- LCBD Proficiency: Experience in Letter of Credit (LC) documentation, vetting, and ensuring timely realization of funds to mitigate organizational risk.
- Banker Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with banking partners, independently resolving issues and queries.
- LC/Inland BoE Management: Oversee the entire cycle of LC and Inland Bill of Exchange discounting and acceptance across PAN India, driving achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) through proactive collaboration with various departments.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze variances, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement corrective actions to optimize resource allocation effectively.
- Limit Assessment: Evaluate the need for additional limits from banks, gather pertinent information, and take timely action with all stakeholders.
- Expense Monitoring: Ensure timely and accurate accounting of expenses, costs, inward remittances, and reconciliation.
- Process Transformation: Eager to drive transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness across various processes.
- Tax Knowledge: Working knowledge of direct and indirect taxes will be advantageous.
Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or CA Inter with 4-8 years of relevant experience.
- Proven track record of success in finance, particularly in international trade finance and banking operations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A collaborative mindset with a focus on achieving results.
