As an Area In Charge (Electrical & Automation) at JSW Steel, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our SMS Unit. Your responsibilities will include:
Job Description:
- Overseeing all electrical and automation activities within the SMS Unit.
- Leading a team of professionals to achieve operational excellence and maximize efficiency.
- Implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
- Troubleshooting electrical and automation issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve productivity.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in Electrical & Automation, preferably in the steel industry.
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing issues.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical and automation systems, including PLCs, SCADA, and DCS.
- Experience with SMS Units will be highly preferred.
