The pouches will lock students’ phones, smartwatches, and earbuds during school hours, with designated unlocking stations at the end of the day. The district aims to enhance focus while addressing challenges in classrooms where phones are used for educational purposes. The policy also includes a $32 replacement fee for lost or damaged pouches.
