Job Responsibilities
As a Boiler Field Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations of the gas-fired boiler system. Key responsibilities include:
- Operating and monitoring gas-fired boilers, feedwater systems, and related auxiliaries.
- Maintaining required steam pressure, temperature, and fuel flow parameters.
- Performing routine start-up, shutdown, and operational checks.
- Recording and logging boiler parameters, fuel consumption, and performance data.
- Ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and operational standards.
- Reporting abnormal equipment behavior or system faults to the maintenance team.
- Supporting preventive maintenance and assisting during breakdowns.
- Maintaining housekeeping standards and promoting energy efficiency initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Qualification: I.T.I / Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in WHRB or Gas-Fired Boiler operations
- Preference: Candidates with experience in WHRB boilers will be preferred
