Sarasota County Schools achieved a historic 92.5% graduation rate for the 2023-2024 school year, marking the district’s highest rate in history. Significant improvements were seen across traditional public high schools, including Pine View School and Suncoast Polytechnical High School, which both reached 100%. The district also made strides in closing the achievement gap, with notable gains among Hispanic, ELL, and SWD students. Superintendent Terry Connor celebrated the hard work of students, staff, and families in reaching this milestone.
