Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for the Foreman position must meet the following educational requirements:

• B.Tech in Mining Engineering OR
• Diploma in Mining Engineering

Additionally, candidates must possess a valid Foreman Certificate, which is mandatory for working in mining supervisory roles.

Experience Required

Applicants should have:

• 3 to 4 years of experience in mining operations
• Experience in Open Cast Mines
• Candidates with Limestone Mining experience will be preferred

Hands-on knowledge of mining safety standards, equipment operations, and production processes will be beneficial for this role.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising mining operations and ensuring smooth workflow in the mining department. Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and supervising daily mining activities in open cast mines
• Ensuring compliance with mining safety regulations
• Managing workers and coordinating with the engineering team
• Monitoring equipment performance and operational efficiency
• Reporting production status and operational issues to senior management

Job Location

The selected candidate will be posted at the Rajgangpur mining site in Odisha, which is part of Shiva Cement’s mining operations supplying limestone for cement production.
