Job Overview
- Position: Wire Rod Mill Central Mechanical Maintenance Head
- Level: AGM / DGM
- Department: Mechanical Maintenance (Wire Rod Mill)
- Location: Indore, Madhya Pradesh
- Industry Preference: Alloy Steel / Mild Steel (MS) / Stainless Steel (SS)
- Experience Required: Minimum 5–7 years as Head of Department (HOD)
- Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical maintenance team for the Wire Rod Mill and ensure uninterrupted production.
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance schedules.
- Optimize equipment performance and reliability through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supervise installation, inspection, and overhauling of critical machinery.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to meet operational goals.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards within the plant.
Candidate Profile
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record of managing maintenance in large-scale steel plants.
- Familiarity with modern maintenance systems, TPM, and reliability engineering practices.
- Excellent communication and team management abilities.
