As part of our expansion, we are seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Shift Incharge for our Wire Rod Mill at our Boisar, Maharashtra location.
Position: Mechanical Shift Incharge – Wire Rod Mill
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the mechanical operations of the Wire Rod Mill during assigned shifts.
- Ensure smooth and efficient functioning of machinery and equipment in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Lead a team of technicians and operators, providing guidance and supervision to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain uninterrupted operations.
- Coordinate with other departments such as production, maintenance, and quality assurance to ensure seamless workflow.
- Adhere to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety among team members.
Requirements: Viraj Profiles Pvt Ltd
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a steel manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in operating and maintaining machinery in a Wire Rod Mill.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
- Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
