Position Details

Position: QA/QC Engineer
Location: Murbad, Kalyan – Maharashtra
Experience: 3–7 years
Department: Quality Assurance / Quality Control

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inward inspection of plates, pipes, tubes, forgings, fittings, fabricated items, machining components, and bought-out materials.
• Ensure strict adherence to QAP (Quality Assurance Plan) during inward, in-process, and final inspections.
• Perform in-process and final inspection of static equipment such as Pressure Vessels, Columns, Boilers, and Heat Exchangers.
• Prepare various quality documents including:
  • QAP, NDT procedures, Hydro Test procedures, Painting procedures, and Weld Plans as per customer requirements.
• Manage and coordinate inspections with Third-Party Inspection Agencies (TPIAs) to ensure compliance and receive release notes.
• Prepare WPS/PQR/WPQ and WOPQ for project-specific requirements.
• Ensure compliance with ASME Codes (Section VIII Div 1 & 2, Section II A/B/C, Section IX) and IBR Codes.
• Maintain clear communication with TPIs, customers, and internal teams for quality-related matters.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication, inspection, and testing procedures.
• Familiarity with ASME and IBR codes is a must.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
