A leading name in the automotive components industry, Advik Autocomp, is seeking skilled and dedicated professionals for the position of Quality Control Engineer at its facility in Rudrapur/Pantnagar, Uttarakhand.

Position Details

Job Title: Quality Control Engineer
Qualification: Diploma / BE in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering
Experience: 2–6 years
Location: Rudrapur/Pantnagar, Uttarakhand

Responsibilities

1. Quality Control and Compliance

• Conduct inspections as per the Process Control Plan to ensure no deviations.
• Inform supervisors about process corrections in real-time for any noted abnormalities.
• Maintain accurate inspection records.
• Verify that gauges on the shop floor are calibrated and report any abnormalities.
• Prepare and manage shift rejection reports and ensure proper disposal of rejections by the end of the shift.
• Educate operators to prevent rejections by adhering to the guidelines.
• Escalate issues of abnormal rejections to the Section Head in real-time if the process corrections are ineffective.

2. Process Improvement and Analysis

• Manage red/yellow bins for rejection and rework parts at workstations.
• Periodically check parts as per the SPC Plan and publish CP/CPK reports for process improvements.

3. Quality Enhancement and Recognition

• Identify critical observations leading to high rejection rates and work with stakeholders for analysis and corrective/preventive measures.
• Nominate operators demonstrating exceptional quality improvements for monthly recognition and rewards.
