Job Opening: Engineer – Mechanical

Company: Shri Bajrang Power & Metallics Limited (SBPML)
Location: Near Bhubaneswar, Odisha

Position Details:

Qualification:

• BE in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institute

Experience:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Chemical Industry Projects

Job Responsibilities:

• Understand Mechanical/Equipment/Piping Drawings
• Prepare BoQ from Drawings and develop procurement lists
• Study Detailed Engineering Design (DED) Equipment layouts and elevations; identify mismatches and request revised drawings
• Prepare fabrication schedules for tanks and vessels, follow up, and ensure timely completion
• Review Equipment Layouts and Orientations; compare with Civil Drawings
• Work on Piping Supports, Routing, and Isometric Drawings; evaluate and identify mismatches; request and follow up for revised drawings
• Maintain proper documentation, records, and daily reports

Key Result Areas:

• Expertise in Chemical Plant Projects/Equipment
• Strong knowledge of Plant Machinery, Piping, and Drawings
• Effective document preparation and maintenance
• Good communication skills in Hindi and English
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Additional Details:

• Relocation: Candidates must be willing to relocate to Odisha
• Salary: Competitive and based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience
• Joining Time: 30 days
