Job Responsibilities in SRJ Steel Recruitment 2025

As a Sr. Quality Engineer, your role will include end-to-end quality control and assurance for HR Coil operations:

• Conduct quality checks and maintain accurate material records.
• Reduce customer complaints by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Perform quality inspections as per BIS standards and prepare BIS documentation.
• Calibrate testing tools and machines for precision.
• Maintain consistent product quality using automated quality systems.
• Identify minor production issues to reduce waste and improve output.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Operate UTM machines and perform critical quality measurements.
• Prepare QAD reports (daily, monthly, and BIS-related).
• Inspect coil profiles and conduct mechanical tests.
• Conduct quality checks during recoiling and slitting operations.
• Manage manpower for smooth inspection workflow.
• Identify defects such as edge bends, lamination issues, and width variations.
• Perform final quality checks and coordinate with dispatch for timely delivery.
