This is a senior-level opportunity for candidates with strong exposure to coated steel quality systems and ISO standards.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering - Experience:
10 to 15 years of relevant experience in Color Coating Line (CCL) quality operations, preferably in the steel industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily quality operations for the Color Coating Line (CCL).
- Monitor product quality parameters and ensure adherence to customer specifications.
- Conduct in-process inspections and approve final product quality.
- Analyze defects, process deviations, and implement Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Maintain quality documentation, test reports, and ensure ISO compliance.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and R&D teams to resolve quality issues.
- Lead and manage a team of quality inspectors with proper manpower deployment.
- Drive quality improvement projects to reduce rejection rates and improve consistency.
- Ensure proper calibration and functioning of testing equipment.
- Review customer complaints and conduct root cause analysis.
Skills & Competencies Required
- Strong understanding of Color Coating Line processes:
- PU, PE, SMP, PVDF coatings
- In-depth knowledge of quality testing parameters for coated coils and sheets.
- Hands-on experience in defect analysis and process control tools.
- Good understanding of ISO / QA systems and documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven team leadership and cross-functional coordination abilities.
- SAP / ERP knowledge for quality data entry will be an added advantage.
