Position: Section Incharge – SMP (Slab Yard Operation)

Location: Hazira, Surat, Gujarat
Function: Operations & Maintenance (O&M)
Experience Required: 10 – 16 Years
Educational Qualifications: BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Metallurgy/Mechanical Engineering

AMNS Recruitment 2024  Key Responsibilities:

As the Slab Yard Incharge, you will be responsible for:

• Smooth Operation of Slab Yard: Oversee the slab lifting process from ROT, slab inspection, conditioning, and ensuring that slabs are supplied to rolling in shift with the required geometry and quality.
• Caster Yield Optimization: Reduce conditional losses by optimizing Caster Yield.
• Capacity Planning & Process Improvement: Plan and improve yard capacity, coordinate slab conditioning, and collaborate with downstream processes.
• Process Monitoring & Control: Monitor and control processes, plan manpower and equipment utilization, and execute shutdowns efficiently.
• Shift Management: Act as the shift in-charge, reporting functionally to the Caster Operation Incharge, ensuring seamless operations in both Caster and Slab Yard.
