Job Description:

The Ferro Alloys Procurement Executive will be responsible for the strategic sourcing and procurement of ferro alloys, ensuring that the company meets its quality and cost objectives. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in supply chain management and demonstrate strong negotiation skills, along with the ability to maintain excellent relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement of Ferro Alloys: Sourcing, negotiating, and securing the best deals with suppliers for ferro alloys.
• Supplier Management: Building and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring timely replenishment to avoid any production delays.
• Cost Optimization: Identifying cost-saving opportunities while ensuring the quality of materials procured.
• Contract Negotiation: Finalizing contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
• Quality Control: Coordinating with the quality team to ensure that the materials procured meet the company’s standards.
• Market Analysis: Continuously analyzing market trends and prices to make informed purchasing decisions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Educational Qualification:
  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) or Bachelor of Engineering (BE).
  • Preferred: MBA in Supply Chain Management.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the steel or ferro alloys sector.
  • Candidates with experience in the steel manufacturing industry will be given preference.
