Qualification & Experience
Qualification:
• B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience
• Preference for candidates with experience in:
•Rolling mills
• Light structural mill operations
• Project execution & commissioning
Role Purpose
The Deputy Manager – Mechanical will act as a critical execution bridge between:
• AGM (Planning) and
• Foremen (Execution)
This role ensures smooth coordination between planning and on-ground execution during project erection, commissioning, and trial runs.
Key Responsibilities
• Day-wise erection planning and execution
• Tracking and improving contractor productivity
• Conducting joint inspections with:
E&A teams
Production teams
• Inspection of equipment at manufacturer’s works
• Planning equipment dispatch as per site civil readiness
• Spares and consumables planning for trials
• Coordination of shutdowns and system modifications
• Breakdown restoration support during commissioning phase
